Two teenagers were shot in the Loop Saturday night as hundreds of teens gathered downtown Chicago, leading to a massive law enforcement response, according to authorities.

The shooting incident occurred at about 9 p.m. on Saturday, in the 0-100 block of East Washington Street. The police say a 16-year-old boy was shot in the arm, and a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg. Both victims were transported to Northwestern Hospital in fair condition. There is no one in custody and police are investigating
